The Oklahoma State Women’s soccer team had its season come to an end after a 3-1 loss to Santa Clara Sunday in Los Angeles.
The No. 12 Cowgirls allowed the most goals they had in a single game all season to the No. 20 Broncos.
Santa Clara (15-5-2) broke through in the 20th minute with Kelsey Turnbow netting her 15th goal of the season. Less than a minute later Cowgirl defender Kim Rodriguez fouled Turnbow in the box and was shown a red card. Junior Bronco Julie Doyle converted from the penalty spot to make it 2-0.
