As the Oklahoma State basketball team prepared for its season opener Saturday against Charlotte, coach Mike Boynton had some special news for one of the Cowboys' veterans.
Junior Trey Reeves, a walk-on from Gans and the son of Cowboy great Bryant "Big Country" Reeves, was placed on scholarship Friday. In a video posted to the team's Twitter account, Boynton had each of the Cowboys' captains read a line before calling Reeves up himself.
