OSU basketball: Thomas Dziagwa sparks Cowboys past Charleston

CHARLESTON, S.C. — Thomas Dziagwa caught the kick-out pass from Isaac Likekele and immediately let it fly.

The basketball rolled around the rim, caught the backboard and fell through the net just past the midway point of the second half.

Oklahoma State’s spirits lifted. Charleston’s fell.

On a night OSU got off to a slow start on the road, the Cowboys recovered behind their veteran sharpshooter. Dziagwa made seven 3-pointers in a 73-54 win over Charleston late Wednesday night.

"I told him the other day, 'If you stop shooting, then we’ll have a problem,'" OSU coach Mike Boynton said.
