Mike Boynton is committed to following the recruiting trail, and this time, he expanded his search to Europe.
Hidde Roessink, from Arnhem, The Netherlands, signed with the Oklahoma State men’s basketball team, the school announced Wednesday. He is a 6-foot-10 combo forward and the seventh European-born student-athlete in Cowboy basketball history. He joins a highly-touted 2019 class.
Although Roessink is only 18 years old, he has played at an elite level. During the past season, he competed as an amateur for the Dutch Basketball League’s Dutch Windmills. Geert Hammink, a first-round selection in the 1993 NBA Draft, coached him.
