TULSA — Mike Boynton’s light gray blazer was already wrapped around the back of the chair as he crouched, yelled and clapped for more from his team.
Minnesota was dominating. The Cowboys — trailing by 22 early in the second half — were trying to muster a comeback.
And for a brief moment, they responded to their coach. The defense appeared to have a stop, forcing a bad shot. But Minnesota’s Jarvis Omersa’s outstretched hand tipped in the rebound over multiple OSU rebounders.
It was just that kind of day.
Not much went right for OSU as Minnesota rolled to an 86-66 victory Saturday at the BOK Center.
