STILLWATER — Midway through the second half of Oklahoma State’s 69-63 loss to Iowa State on Wednesday night, OSU coach Mike Boynton turned to a lineup of three freshmen — Isaac Likekele, Yor Anei and Duncan Demuth — and two transfers — Michael Weathers and Curtis Jones. All five were playing in their first Big 12 game.
That lineup’s minute and 34 seconds on Eddie Sutton Court marked the only time Cam McGriff was off it during his 15-point, 13-rebound performance.
“Heck, I thought I got Cam a couple blows until I looked at the stat sheet,” Boynton laughed after the game.
