STILLWATER — Growing up 40 minutes from Stillwater, J.K. Hadlock dreamed of playing in a Bedlam game.
Basketball or baseball.
A little more than a week ago, the Glencoe High product got his chance. He entered for the final minute in OSU’s 83-66 rout and made a 3-pointer.
“I really wasn’t thinking a whole lot about trying to score,” Hadlock said. “It’s just how it happened. It was awesome.”
It was a play designed for fellow walk-on Trey Reeves, who passed up the shot for Hadlock.
“We talked about it afterwards,” Hadlock said. “It worked out in my favor.
