OSU basketball: Dziagwa’s career game not enough to save Cowboys from record drought

AUSTIN, Texas — A big afternoon from one Oklahoma State captain wasn’t enough to eclipse a quiet game from the other two.

Despite a career-high 23 points from Thomas Dziagwa, OSU suffered a 69-57 loss to Texas on Saturday afternoon in the Frank Erwin Center. The defeat was the Cowboys’ eighth straight Big 12 loss, the program’s longest conference drought in a season in program history.

Dziagwa’s seven 3-pointers were the most by a Cowboy since Phil Forte in 2014. His fifth pushed OSU (9-16 overall, 2-10 Big 12) to a 9-0 that brought the Cowboys within four.
