OSU basketball: Cowboys win home opener behind captains

STILLWATER — Thomas Dziagwa pulled an arrow from his quiver, nocked his bow and aimed it toward the 300-level seats of Gallagher-Iba Arena.

As Dziagwa released the arrow in his imaginary show of archery, he shimmied his fingers. In Oklahoma State's 82-60 victory over UTSA in its home opener Wednesday, Dziagwa showed off his the celebration after each of his four 3-pointers.

Three of them came in succession amid a stretch in which the Cowboys (1-1) hit six straight to complete a rally after a 9-0 deficit. Five came from their captains, who shined as OSU bounced back from a disappointing 66-64 defeat against Charlotte.
