STILLWATER — Oklahoma State Cam McGriff caught the wild pass, planted his feet, spun and dropped in a layup as he was fouled.
After making the free shot, fellow senior Lindy Waters III blocked the layup attempt by Iowa State’s George Conditt, setting off a fastbreak that brought the noise.
OSU senior Thomas Dziagwa broke free and looked primed for a dunk. It was only a layup, but in a second-half, 20-second spurt the Cowboys’ trio of seniors iced a Senior Day victory.
The Cowboys beat Iowa State 73-61 Saturday afternoon inside Gallagher-Iba Arena, winning a fifth time in eight games.
