STILLWATER — Oklahoma State honored former NBA superstar Kobe Bryant before it hosted No. 3-ranked Kansas on Monday.
The Cowboys posted a picture of Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter, Gigi, alongside a photo of John Altobelli on the videoboard of Gallagher-Iba Arena as public-address announcer Larry Reece read a tribute.
Several OSU players were wearing Kobe Bryant’s Nike shoes — including Avery Anderson III, Isaac Likekele, Jonathan Laurent, Dee Mitchell, J.K. Hadlock and Trey Reeves.
The Cowboys also held a moment of silence for the annual “Remember the Ten” game to honor the 10 men associated with the program who died in a plane crash on Jan.
