OSU basketball: Cowboys have no positive tests in first round of COVID-19 screenings

STILLWATER — No Oklahoma State’s men’s basketball players were positive for COVID-19 through the first round of testing, a source told The Oklahoman.

All members of the Cowboys basketball team — returning and incoming — were tested last week for the coronavirus. A second round is scheduled for Thursday, according to the source.

Players have also started voluntary workouts, including daily pickup games without full-time coaches or staff members present.

OSU's encouraging results come on the same day Louisville shut down basketball operations after two members of the program tested positive for the coronavirus.

OSU had 14 football players test positive for COVID-19.
