OSU, basketball communities offer condolences to Marcus Smart after mother's death

With a touching tribute posted to his Twitter account Monday night, Boston Celtic and former Oklahoma State guard Marcus Smart announced his mother, Camellia, died Sunday after a battle with cancer.

Smart, who revealed his mother's cancer diagnosis in April, played two seasons at OSU from 2012-14. Smart has credited his mother for moving the family out of a troublesome area of Lancaster, Texas, to Flower Mound, where Smart found stability and peace. Quickly, members of the OSU and basketball communities offered their condolences to Smart.
