STILLWATER — Oklahoma State coach Mike Boynton half expected Kalib Boone to pack up and hike back to Tulsa.
Boone was wiped out physically and emotionally just days into summer workouts. College life was vastly different than high school.
“They showed us nothing comes easy,” Kalib said.
For years, Kalib and twin brother Keylan ruled Oklahoma’s high school basketball scene. At Tulsa Memorial High School, they were kings on the court.
But that comes with a cost.
“I got comfortable a lot,” Keylan said. “Being that I was so dominant, so big.
“Now, I’m in an area where everybody’s as big and works as much as I do.
