A few more outs, or one more big swing of the bat Sunday evening, and the Oklahoma State baseball team could be preparing for a trip to Omaha for the College World Series.
For all the tough outs and all the critical hits the Cowboys got in the NCAA Super Regional at Texas Tech, their season came to an end with an 8-6 loss in the deciding game of the best-of-three series.
So, these Cowboys won’t go down as the 21st College World Series team in OSU history. That will have to wait.
But that doesn’t mean this OSU team won’t have an impact beyond Sunday night in Lubbock, Texas.
