Less than a week ago, Oklahoma State’s season was on life support.
Tuesday’s loss at Missouri State, which came days after a grueling sweep to Kansas in Lawrence, sent OSU players into a trance on the bus ride home. Having suffered four consecutive losses to fall to 12-14 and 1-6 in conference play, members of the team rallied around one another. Creating a sense of unity among one another was the starting point.
“We had some things that didn’t go our way, and we came together as a team and said, ‘This isn’t it,’” Cowboys’ pitcher Sean Youngerman said.
