OSU announces football spring game will be April 20

Fans finally know when they'll get their first chance to see Spencer Sanders and Dru Brown play in Boone Pickens Stadium.

Oklahoma State announced Tuesday that its football spring game will be April 20, concluding a spring practice slate where the primary storyline will be the quarterback competition between Sanders, a redshirt freshman and former four-star recruit, and Brown, a Hawaii grad transfer in his second season with the Cowboys.

Both will try to replace Taylor Cornelius, who led OSU to a 7-6 record and Liberty Bowl victory in his lone season as starter. Sanders did not play in 2018, while Brown played one snap, handing the ball off after Cornelius' helmet came off in the Liberty Bowl.
