The Basketball Tournament isn’t set to tip until late July, and thus it’s still on. And Thursday, the Stillwater Stars were born.
It’s the name that Oklahoma State’s TBT team settled on, as TBT announced the Stars applied for the tournament Thursday. With the announcement of the application also came four names of guys who would be on the team: Jeffrey Carroll, Le’Bryan Nash, Brian Williams and Marshall Moses.
It isn’t set in stone yet that the Stars will make the 64-team field, but with players already announced and being that they are one of 21 teams to apply this early, they’re probably in a good spot.
