Oklahoma State wrestling routs Bucknell in season opener

The Oklahoma State wrestling team didn’t look like it was missing two All-American starters.

The No. 1 Cowboys earned five bonus-point wins en route to a 36-3 victory over Bucknell on Sunday at NEO Fieldhouse in Miami, Okla.

Senior Kyle Crutchmer recorded a first-period fall at 174, redshirt freshman Nick Piccininni (125) and Jonce Blaylock (149) posted technical falls and redshirt freshman Kaid Brock (133) and redshirt sophomore Chandler Rogers (165) tallied major decisions.

OSU (1-0) was without 149-pounder Anthony Collica and 157-pounder Joe Smith. Collica competed at the National Wrestling Coaches Association All-Star Classic on Saturday night at Cleveland State University's Wolstein Center.
