It’s been a bit of a broadcasting rollercoaster for Oklahoma State this season. Two weeks ago, Kirk Herbstreit and Chris Fowler — ESPN’s A-list team — was on the call for OSU-Texas. Then last week, on ESPN+, it was upside down microphones, a red-zone outage and … a not-so-great telecast. This week should be better.
The Saturday game between OSU and Texas Tech in Lubbock will be carried by FS1, and a more recognizable announcing crew will be on hand: Brian Custer and Robert Smith. Custer’s been with FOX since 2014, while Smith has been with FOX since 2016 after a brief stint with ESPN.
