Listed at 6-foot-4, 295 pounds, Johnson is from Lonoke, Arkansas — a town of about 4,000 east of Little Rock. Lonoke went 6-5 in 2022, according to MaxPreps, where the Jackrabbits made it into the 4A State Playoffs.
Johnson played at left guard and left tackle for the Jackrabbits in his junior season, as his team averaged 32.
