Mike Boynton is picking up where he and his fellow staff members left off under the Brad Underwood regime. In year one, the staff didn’t shy away from making offers to big-time prospects. And even though he’s just days into his tenure, the same can be said so far for Boynton. Boynton’s staff extended an offer to five-star small forward Gerald Liddell over the weekend.
Liddell is ranked as the fifth best small forward recruit in the country, and the 19th overall prospect in the entire 2018 class. With offers from nine schools including Texas, Kansas and SMU, the staff has its work cut out for them.
