Oklahoma State lands commitment from top-50 2020 cornerback Korie Black

While many of us were heading to bed, Oklahoma State coaches were cheering after learning that three-star cornerback prospect Korie Black was committing to OSU.

The 6-foot, 165-pound defensive back from Waco, Texas announced his decision in a video on Twitter late Saturday night.

Black is the 37th ranked cornerback in the class of 2020 and 68th ranked player in the state of Texas. He is now the fourth-highest rated player in OSU’s 2020 class, and the highest rated cornerback to commit to OSU since 2014.

Oklahoma State beat out 21 (!!!) other programs for Black’s commitment, including his hometown team Baylor, Purdue, Colorado, Minnesota, Kansas State, Texas Tech, Nebraska, and Syacuse, among others.
