Oklahoma State squares off with Kansas on Saturday looking to go 7-0 for the fourth time ever. The first came in 1945. That team didn’t lose a game, beat OU 47-0 in its eighth game and smoked St. Mary’s in the Sugar Bowl.
Somehow, it finished ranked No. 5 in the final AP Poll that season.
OSU did it again in 2008 getting all the way to a No. 7 ranking before losing at Texas. The other team that did it was the 2011 squad.
