The Cowgirls traveled to Waco, Texas, for a Big 12 match against Baylor on Sunday evening. OSU cruised to a 4-1 victory against No. 50 Baylor to remain undefeated in Big 12 play this season.
The No. 17 Cowgirls took the 1-0 lead after a strong performance in the doubles matches. Katarina Adamovic and Vladica Babic won their match, 6-2, and Viktoriya Lushkova and Carla Tur Mari earned a 6-3 victory.
Baylor tied the match at 1-1 after the Bears’ Blair Shankle defeated Katarina Adamovic 6-0, 6-0, but the Cowgirls took the lead back when Vladica Babic won her match against Rhiann Newborn, 6-2, 6-0.
