Oklahoma State Gets Big-Time Washington State WR Transfer Tay Martin

Oklahoma State’s deep wide receiver group got a little bit deeper on Saturday when 6-foot-3 Washington State wideout Tay Martin announced that he’s transferring from Pullman to Stillwater to play out his senior year.

He entered the transfer portal a week ago and declared his destination on Twitter.

The rangy, athletic Martin is entering the NCAA transfer portal just one week after the Pac-12 postponed its fall season due to the coronavirus pandemic. Martin’s decision to enter the portal was reported by Rivals.com, and the receiver later confirmed it with The Spokesman-Review.

It’s unclear why Martin is leaving Pullman on the horizon of his senior season, but the timing of it suggests the 6-foot-3, 186-pound receiver could be looking to play elsewhere this fall in order to boost his chances of being selected in the 2021 NFL Draft.
