Mike Gundy did the state of Oklahoma a solid last week. He got the nation’s eyes off Joe Exotic.
Turns out, the Tiger King isn’t our state’s only mullet-haired, crazy-talking, animal-sanctuary-operator. Gundy’s farm outside Stillwater includes sheep, goats, peacocks, chickens, turkeys and desert turtles; I don’t think he’s got any tigers, but I wouldn’t put it past him. Gundy hasn’t run for president like “The Tiger King” protagonist, but again, there’s always 2024.
Mike Exotic started jabbering during a teleconference last Tuesday, and soon enough, college football writers and United States senators were taking note of the Cowboy King.
