Barry J. Sanders is one step closer to becoming a Cowboy.
The son of the Oklahoma State legend who will join the football program as a graduate transfer this fall received a bachelor's degree in communications from Stanford over the weekend. No small feat, considering the school admitted just five percent of its freshman applicants last fall.
"There was a lot of anticipation for what to expect academically," Sanders told The Oklahoman back in February. "I had some speed bumps along the way. The biggest adjustment was learning how to study and having better study habits.
