Oklahoma State football: 2017 Pokes know Ben DiNucci, new Dallas quarterback

The Dallas Cowboys picked James Madison quarterback Ben DiNucci in the seventh round of the NFL Draft last Saturday, and the name sort of stuck with me. Like I had heard it before.

Turns out I had.

In September 2017, I covered the OSU-Pittsburgh game at Heinz Field, where the Cowboys routed the Panthers 59-21. Mason Rudolph and James Washington, who later would become Pittsburgh Steelers and make Heinz Field their home park, had big games. Pitt struggled.

And in the second quarter, Pittsburgh coach Pat Narduzzi changed quarterbacks, much to the delight of the smallish Panther crowd.
