After months without a contract in place, Oklahoma State athletic director Chad Weiberg has agreed to a new four-year deal, the university announced Friday. The extension, approved by the OSU Board of Regents, ensures leadership continuity at a crucial time for the athletic department as Weiberg spearheads the search for the Cowboys’ next football coach.
The new contract runs through 2029 and maintains Weiberg’s annual salary of $750,000, with additional performance-based incentives tied to both financial benchmarks and team success.
University officials emphasized that the agreement reinforces Oklahoma State’s commitment to stability amid an ever-changing college sports landscape.
