Oklahoma State basketball: Cowboys hold off No. 13 Texas Tech 82-77 in overtime

Without Cade Cunningham’s last-second heroics in overtime, his teammates worked together to secure the Oklahoma State men’s basketball team’s first Big 12 victory of the season. OSU upset No. 13 Texas Tech 82-77 on Saturday afternoon in Lubbock, Texas.

Cunningham fouled out when the Cowboys were clinging to a 73-71 lead with 2:44 left in overtime, but as he sat on the bench, other Cowboys stepped up. With five seconds left, OSU guard Bryce Williams stole the ball from Kyler Edwards and dished it to Avery Anderson III for a layup that sealed the victory. Sophomore Keylan Boone also boosted the Cowboys in overtime when he drew a foul on a second-chance jump shot and made the free throw.
