Closing time has become trouble time for Oklahoma State.
The Cowboys blew a late lead for the second straight night at the Big 12 Tournament, with Texas rallying with a nine-run eighth inning for a 12-8 win in an elimination game at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
Ousted from the tournament, OSU will live to play in an NCAA regional next week, yet must shake the pains of back-to-back meltdowns.
It was an almost identical repeat of Thursday night, when TCU hung nine runs in the eighth for a 13-4 win over the Cowboys. And just like Thursday, Texas did it against a failing OSU bullpen.
