Oklahoma City boxer Alex Saucedo (29-1, 19 KOs) returned to the boxing ring for his first fight in nearly a year Saturday night, but it didn't last long.
Saucedo scored a first-round knockout against Rod Salka (24-6, 4 KOs) in less than a minute during the junior welterweight bout in Los Angeles.
"It was great to be back," Saucedo said. "I wanted to get some rounds in, but the knockout came, so it is what it is. I hope to be back in the ring very soon."
OSU cross country teams finish first and second
The Oklahoma State Cowgirls captured their second team Big 12 cross country title in program history and the Cowboys finished second at the Big 12 Cross Country Championships in Waco, Texas, on Saturday.
