OCU looks to retain Head of Oklahoma Regatta trophies
Oklahoma City University will once again try to win the men’s collegiate four and eight events in the Head of the Oklahoma Regatta on Saturday and Sunday on the Oklahoma River.
The Stars open the 2019-20 season with the 15th edition of the Head of the Oklahoma Regatta with racing starting Saturday at 10 a.m. and culminating with the OG&E NightSprints at 6 p.m.
Fireworks will follow competition Saturday night. The second day of racing starts 7 a.m. Sunday. The Head of the Oklahoma pioneered night racing with the first night event held in the United States as part of the 2006 regatta.
