Mike Boynton is committed to following the recruiting trail, and this time, he expanded his search to Europe.
Hidde Roessink, from Arnhem, The Netherlands, signed with the Oklahoma State men’s basketball team, OSU Athletics announced Wednesday. He is a 6-foot-10 combo forward and the seventh European-born student-athlete in Cowboy basketball history.
Although Roessink is only a freshman, he has played at an elite level. During the past season, he competed as an amateur for the Dutch Basketball League’s Dutch Windmills. Roessink also played for The Netherlands in the FIBA U16 European Championships.
