Sooners advance to Big 12 semis
Sparked by two late goals, No. 4-seeded Oklahoma beat Iowa State 2-0 in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Championships at Swope Soccer Village in Kansas City, Mo.
The Sooners (13-5-2) matched a program-best mark for total wins in a single season.
The shutout was the eighth of the season for goalkeeper Kassidie Stade and 19th of her career, both OU records.
Forward Liz Keester and midfielder Madison Saliba scored for the Sooners, who next play 4:30 p.m. Friday against West Virginia.
