Mike Boynton offered Jalen Ricks a long time ago, and it’s just about finally time for Ricks to make a college decision.
Ricks, a 6-foot-6 shooting guard, announced his Top 8 on Tuesday of Oklahoma State, TCU, Towson, Arkansas, Ohio, Georgia State, Oral Roberts and Southern Illinois.
Ricks, originally from Arkansas, played with the prestigious Oak Hill Academy last season. Playing a national schedule, Ricks averaged 10.7 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists a game. He scored 25 points against eventual national champion Montverde on Jan. 30, going 6-for-9 from 3.
