After weather issues in Lawrence, Kansas, kept the Jayhawks private jet from flying to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Leipold, wide receiver Kwamie Lassiter II and defensive back Kenny Logan Jr. were forced to resort to an old method of communication.

“First of all, just like to take the time to apologize for not having the opportunity to be there in person. It's unfortunate we could not get clearance to depart Lawrence here this morning,” Leipold said. “Nevertheless, extremely excited to be with you all today.
