Last season was rough for the Oklahoma State women's golf team.
After finishing the season with only one tournament win and only two other top-10 finishes in the regular season the Cowgirls finished their year with a sixth place finish in the Big 12 Championship. After which OSU Athletic Director Mike Holder announced Courtney Jones would no longer be the coach of the Cowgirls.
After a short coaching search former Cowboy golfer Greg Robertson was named the next head coach. Robertson was on the 1995 NCAA Championship team with Cowboys head coach Alan Bratton and a part of the 1996 Big Eight championship team.
