PITTSBURGH — Oklahoma State entered the season with seven returning All-Americans. Amazingly, five did not place in the 2019 tournament. Joe Smith and Jacobe Smith were eliminated in consolations. Boo Lewallen (149) was lost to a season-ending injury. Chandler Rogers (165) lost to Joe Smith in ranking matches. Brock fell one win short of placing. He, Rogers and Joe Smith are two-time All-Americans.
Moran makes big comeback
Stillwater’s Tristan Moran (26-11), who transferred from OSU to Wisconsin, staged a phenomenal comeback in the third consolation round.
