Nathan Ruiz has returned to The Oklahoman to join the Oklahoma State University coverage team.
Ruiz, 22, interned at The Oklahoman in the summer of 2015. He is a native of Reno, Nevada, and graduated from OSU in May of 2017 with degrees in sports media and sports management.
“We are incredibly excited to add Nathan to the team,” Oklahoman sports editor Ryan Sharp said. “His energy and enthusiasm will be a big addition for readers of The Oklahoman and NewsOK.com.”
Ruiz also interned at Reno Gazette-Journal, Dallas Morning News and MLB.com, where he covered the San Diego Padres.
