An era of Oklahoma State athletics has come to an end.
Mike Holder has been announced as athletic director emeritus of OSU, pending approval from the board of regents.
Effective July 1, Chad Weiberg will take his place as athletic director.
The move ends Holder’s 16-year run as head of the athletic department.
Holder has been the athletic director since 2005 after coaching the men’s golf team for 32 years. His contract was set to expire at the end of June.
