RB Leipzig 1-0 Tottenham: Germans strike first in England
Rb Leipzig outplayed the hosts and are close to reaching the CL quarter-finals for the first time. Not many scoring opportunities were created in the first half, but Leipzig came close to scoring on two occasions. In the first minute of play, Angelino hit the post after a Hugo Lloris’ save. In the 35th minute, Timo Werner had a one-on-one against the keeper which was also saved by Lloris. Early in the second half, the visitors were awarded a penalty kick on Konrad Laimer.
