Kevin Peterson made a good enough impression with Arizona Cardinals brass in 2019.
On Tuesday, the former All-Big 12 cornerback at Oklahoma State signed a one-year deal to remain in Arizona, according to a release from the team. It’s an opportunity for Peterson to string together consecutive seasons for the first time in his five-year pro career.
After going undrafted in 2016, Peterson spent time (multiple stints) with the Chicago Bears organization, but never saw the field before landing with the Rams. In 2017, Peterson earned his way from the Rams practice squad to the active roster, appearing in six games and starting in the season finale.
