Coach Jay Udwadia and his squad aren’t looking back, that much is for sure.
The No. 14 Oklahoma State men’s tennis team (4-1) were hoping to make it through the ITA Kick-Off with their perfect record unscathed but were derailed by a 4-0 loss to No. 18 Columbia (2-0) in the first round. The Cowboys had to quickly get their bearings and prepare to battle the next day.
“We were extremely disappointed against Columbia,” Udwadia said.
The team was suffering from a few lingering injuries and illnesses that forced changes in the lineup.
“We weren’t a hundred percent, you know,” Udwadia said.
