When West Virginia changed coaches after last season – Dana Holgorsen went to the University of Houston, Neal Brown was hired to replace him – Joe Wickline was out of a job.
But Kelby Wickline remains a Mountaineer in good standing.
Joe Wickline was a nine-year offensive line coach at OSU, and his son played at Stillwater High School. But Joe Wickline spent two years at Texas, then joined Holgorsen’s staff at WVU in 2016. Kelby Wickline spent a year at Texas-San Antonio and another at Jones County College in Mississippi, before joining his father in Morgantown.
