Injury Report: Jason Brooks Jr. Out against UCF

ORLANDO, Florida — The Cowboys will be without their starting left guard in the Sunshine State.

Dave Hunziker reported on Oklahoma State’s pregame radio show that Jason Brooks Jr. would miss Saturday’s game against UCF. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. (Central). Brooks left the Cowboys’ Bedlam win against Oklahoma last week on crutches after Alan Bowman’s second quarter touchdown run. Hunziker also said they’d be on the look out for other injuries, presumably referencing OSU’s wide receiver situation with Jaden Bray, Blaine Green and Talyn Shettron.

Expect Cole Birmingham to get the nod at left guard, as he has been the one who has spelled Brooks throughout this nagging injury.
