Indoor track and field season underway for Oklahoma State

The cross-country season is in the past as Oklahoma State shifts its focus indoors for track and field. The season officially started for OSU on Friday in Lawrence, Kansas, at the Bob Timmons Challenge.

The squad that traveled to Lawrence consisted of a mix of experienced and first-time runners.

The Cowboys and Cowgirls took home a combined six individual titles.

The Cowgirls excelled in the field events, winning four of their five titles there.

Baylor Nelson won the women’s weight throw with a personal best 15.81 meters. Natalie Manders took the title in the shot put with a 13.
