For the second tournament in a row, a former Oklahoma State golfer was in the final group on Sunday. But, like the last one, they came up just short again.
Viktor Hovland used a great second and third round to propel himself into a tie for second going into the final round. Hovland struggled to take advantage of scoring situations and pulled the ball right for the majority of the weekend.
However, Hovland couldn’t get going in round four and came up short of the win. Hovland shot 1-under in round four to finish at 15-under for the tournament.
