STILLWATER — It has become a bit of a joke at this point to mention that Lindy Waters, a Cowboy, is in fact from Norman.
For four years now, Waters has been called into media scrums before Bedlam games to talk about his hometown’s team. Yes, he is also a former teammate of NBA All-Star Trae Young.
But this is the last time he’ll be bombarded with questions of returning to Norman.
Waters has played in two games as a Cowboy in Lloyd Noble Center, missing the one his sophomore season when Young was a Sooner with a concussion.
